Interested in learning about abstraction, how to abstract your paintings successfully?

Abstraction - an approach to working with imagery, converting the representational into the non-representational. Sudents will learn application techniques, color theory. This class is structured around examples of artsts from 20th century art history, discussing their use of materials, their approaches.

This class concentrates on the qualities of acrylic/latex paints. Uses of mediums, glazing, multi/mixed media (paintsticks, oil pastels).will all be explored.
